Getting ready for the City Pier City (CPC) run 10 k or half marathon!
Would you like to cross the finish line of the 45th CPC on March 8th 2020? Whatever your goal is, achieving a Personal Best or running your first 10 k or half marathon? I’ll help you reach that goal!
Lunch Break Running: your ticket to optimal preparation for the CPC
We will start training on Thursday 5th of September. We meet at 12.30 p.m. at the main entrance of World Forum in The Hague. In 24 weeks I’ll take you to the finish line of CPC.
During this running session we will work on speed, strength, running form & injury prevention. You can also train (free of extra charge) with the regular groups of De Vrolijke Loper (1 sesion per week).
Everybody who likes running and wants to improve his/her speed or distance. You can join this enthusiastic group if you’re able to run 5K in 35 minutes. You’re also welcome if you don’t want to race the CPC.

· Despite of being in the city we train in nature; we run the dunes and parks nearby.
· Enthusiastic and skilled running instructor (also ultra trailrunner).
· Attention for running technique (proper running form).
· Recommendations for nutrion, running gear and injury prevention.

This includes 24 sessions with the lunch break running group. Ànd 1 rweekly unning session free of choice with De Vrolijke Loper (Mondays & Wednesdays 19.30 hrs, Saturdays 9.00 hrs, check website for locations). I also provide you with a training schedule (3 running sessions per week) so you can fully prepare yourself for the CPC.
If you rather join us on a less frequent basis you’re always welcome and pay per session. The fee for 1 running session is € 8. If you join us later than September, no problem, we work something out!
